I thought the way the church manipulated the highly illeterate population into giving them all their money was interesting. That is what God wanted afterall. Also, the huge effect books had on the world in general suprises me. It just truly shows how powerful literature is. Books are a valuable asset to today's world. Without them humanity would be clueless.
I think we definitely benefited from the printing press , even with the limited but existent negatives. We would know a lot less about our surrounding world and be super underdeveloped.I agree that it's the most important innovation of mankind.
